Dear Doug, I have been looking on Pinterest and Houzz.com for ideas for my home remodel, but I want to see what some of these trends look like installed. Any suggestions on what I can do to see some installations?
Lucky you! We have just installed two of the newest trends in our showroom! We just redid a whole display wall with reclaimed wood. It looks great. With all of the interest in the farmhouse look, we felt it was important for our customers to see what a wood accent wall looks like. We used wood from Tennessee Wood Flooring from their design called “Reclaimed Wall and Ceiling Accent.” The boards in this pattern have an assortment of “patinas,” including grey, natural, and assorted worn paint colors from rust to blue.
One of the other new hot trends we installed was a floor of faux marble porcelain tile. White marble, be it natural or a faux version, is the material of the year. Carrera white marble slabs and tiles are finding their way into bathrooms and kitchens. This trend is a continuation of the nostalgic movement happening in the industry. In the late 1800s and early 19th centuries this style of white marble with veins of black was frequently found on bathroom walls, combined with black and white hexagonal mosaic tile floors.
We have lots of other installations. Some are samples of the most up to date shower stall ideas, like the use of wood-look porcelain tile planks, and the latest in surrounds for freestanding bathtubs.
The City Tile showroom in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is always offering samples of the newest styles and trends in flooring and tile for walls in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and sunrooms, as well as great ideas for outdoor living spaces.
Get out of the heat and into our showroom today! We can help you plan that Fall remodel or the addition of a new outdoor space this Summer!
