Designing your own custom area rug can be fun. First, you choose your pattern, like Hacienda Herringbone (pictured below). Next, you have to choose a boarder, like linen. Linen boarders come in twenty-six different colors. The colors are: Steel Blue, Raven, Stucco, Crimson, Amber, Olive Sage, Oyster, Oatmeal, Parchment, Coffee, Mushroom, Cinnamon, Blond, Toffee Cream, Sea Cove, Earth, Limestone, Platinum, Driftwood, Battleship, French Gray, Coconut Husk, Gun Metal and Dark Truffle. There is certainly a color for every taste.
You can choose mitered corners or square corners for your board border. Other boarder options include chenille, distressed leather, Cheyenne leather, cotton, jute, jute braid, smooth leather, textured leather, tapestry, smooth leather, and jute/chenille.
Lastly, you pick your rug size. Standard sizes are two feet by six inches, six by nine feet, eight by ten feet, nine by twelve feet, or ten by fourteen feet.
